THIS IS HOW IT ALL STARTED

In 2012, during her husband’s military deployment, Yuliya Panchenko discovered her passion for boudoir photography in the most personal way — by creating intimate self-portraits to send to him. What began as a simple act of love quickly turned into a lifelong pursuit of art, confidence, and storytelling through the lens.

2012

A woman with dark, wavy hair posing in lingerie and a tank top with the word 'Angel' in pink letters, standing in a bedroom.

By 2015, Yuliya had fully immersed herself in boudoir photography, dedicating countless hours to mastering posing. She practiced daily in front of the mirror, capturing over 10,000 self-portraits to understand body language, light, and emotion. Through this discipline, she developed an intuitive ability to guide clients and models into elegant, natural, and powerful poses that would later define her signature style.

2015

A young woman with long brown hair and blue eyes lying on a bed, wearing black lace lingerie, looking at the camera.

Between 2016 and 2020, Yuliya explored the deeper artistic side of boudoir photography. She played with highlights and shadows, carefully studying how light shapes the body and emotion. During this time, she experimented with different lighting sources and directions, developing her own refined techniques that would later define her signature low-key lighting style — a foundation for her fine art nude and bodyscape work.

A woman lying nude on a blanket on the wooden floor, reading magazines and holding a cigarette, with sunlight coming through sheer curtains behind her.

In 2020, Yuliya was invited to present her first international class at the Professional Imaging Conference in the Netherlands. Although the event was canceled due to COVID-19, her presentation titled Believe in Boudoir became the spark that inspired the creation of today’s largest boudoir photography platform. That same year, she also developed her signature fine art nude and bodyscape style using low-key lighting, which became the artistic foundation of her work.

From 2020 to 2025, Yuliya and her husband Eliar Tabrizi, a film school graduate and former U.S. Army serviceman, turned Believe in Boudoir into a global platform. Together, they combined their expertise in photography, film, and education to build a home for artists who believe in the beauty of the human form and the power of artistic expression.

2025
